New Website Launched for Renaissance Park

[MILLEDGEVILLE, GA, September 28, 2019] — Renaissance Park announces the launch of a new website to provide
news and information about current and future developments on the former Central State Hospital grounds. The site also
provides content for business development and commercial real estate professionals about available sites, the local
business climate and available economic and tax benefits. The site is designed and managed by local marketing agency,
Erin Andrews Media.
“Earlier this spring, we re-branded as Renaissance Park. With this new website, it gives us a place to grow and expand
on that brand, and a place to attract business development. It also allows us to keep community informed of
entertainment, special events and job opportunities in Renaissance Park,” said Mike Couch, Executive Director.
The Central State Hospital Local Redevelopment Authority was established in 2012 by State Legislation as a political unit
of the State of Georgia. The sole function of the Authority is to induce economic and job creation by leveraging the real
estate assets of the Central State Hospital in Milledgeville. Today, more than 20 private partners have purchased
property on campus, have constructed new facilities, or are investing large sums of capital investment in
upcoming projects.
Construction for the renovation of the 110,000 square foot Parham Kitchen is expected to start by the end of this month.

This project has been in planning stages for over three years. Milledgeville and Baldwin County will now become a
focal point for Georgia’s largest industry— Agriculture — when the Parham Kitchen reopens as the Georgia International
Food Center is opened. The Parham Kitchen and Central Production Facility will be operated and managed by
FoodService Partners in partnership with the Georgia Agribusiness Development Center in order to promote economic
growth, agribusiness education, and Georgia Grown Products.
FoodServices Partners Holdings Inc. was established in 1997 and has focused on quality food, nutritionally prepared
and served to institutional groups such as The Hospital Authority of New York City and the Kaiser Permanente Hospital
Group. Food Service Partners has similar facilities in New York, Virginia, Texas, and California. Last year meal
production nationwide exceeded 33,000,000 meals.
The Central State Hospital LRA was established in 2012 by State Legislation as a political unit of the State of Georgia.
The sole function of the Authority is inducing economic and job creation by leveraging the real estate assets of the
Central State Hospital in Milledgeville.
