Milledgeville, one of Georgia’s most beautiful small cities, is in the heart of Middle Georgia. As the antebellum capital of Georgia, it is blessed to have many historic homes and buildings including the former state capital building, now part of Georgia Military College and the former governor’s mansion, now part of Georgia College and State University.  Milledgeville and Baldwin County have a vibrant entrepreneurial economy. Along with this small business focus comes a strong desire for industrial growth and development. Our community has tenaciously explored any avenue which would foster and support a new industry. Baldwin County is a Certified Work Ready community and supports incentives available through the State of Georgia. Higher education, technical training, and several workforce initiatives are available in Milledgeville for the ongoing development of employees’ skill sets.
