Central State Hospital was established to address mental health care needs of those in the community as well as rest of Georgia. Renaissance Park continues to address health issues with these organizations and institutions who are serving patients and families of all ages.
CorrectLife Bostick
The new Bostick Nursing Center is a state-of-the-art facility consisting of 98,000 square feet of assisted living, in the form of 280-beds to former inmates. Bostick Nursing Center will house aging and in-firmed former prison system inmates who have served their terms, but who now will require healthcare treatment or supervision.
The nursing center will be of “great” benefit to these former inmates once they leave the custody of state correctional facilities.
Georgia War Veterans Home
The Georgia War Veterans Home, situated on approximately 17 acres in Milledgeville, is a 375-bed facility licensed and certified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to provide skilled nursing care to aged and infirm Georgia war veterans.
Georgia DBHDD
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities provides treatment and support services to people with mental health challenges and substance use disorders and assists individuals who live with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
