While Renaissance Park will continue to use traditional non-renewable energy products such as natural gas and fossil fuel produced electricity, the long term direction is to move toward more renewable forms of energy as they become more cost effective.
Hannah Solar
A solar array is being planned for both the former waste site, now capped, and the roof top of the Food Service kitchen. A plan to utilize an additional larger site for solar electrical production is also being considered.
